Investigator Spotlight – Toby Braun

Toby Braun has have over 10 years of combined experience in public safety, investigations and high-risk security contracting.
 His primary skills are undercover operations, criminal investigations, executive protection, special weapons and tactics, crisis management, threat analysis and mitigation, leadership, on-scene command, as well as special events incident management & planning. Throughout his career, Toby has developed deep relationships on a global spectrum within the intelligence, law enforcement, private investigative and national security communities. He’s spent many years and often continues to travel domestically & internationally for work related assignments and considers himself fortunate to have experienced many parts of the world. Both Toby’s travels and professional experience have left him the hands-on realization that our world is an ever-changing one that requires professionals dedicated and passionate to making a critical difference with the protection of our rights, freedom and safety in mind. Every day, Toby continues to strive in maintaining a credible status as one of those professionals.

Toby graduated from Nova Southeastern University with a Bachelors in Criminal Justice before attending graduate school for National Security and Counter-Terrorism Studies at American Military University. Amongst several hundreds of hours of professional training in law enforcement, investigations, counter-terrorism, security management, incident command management, tactical operations, leadership and intelligence Toby is a certified Professional Investigator, Law Enforcement Field Training Officer, SWAT Operator, Forensic Interviewer, Firearms Instructor, Criminal Interviewer and Interrogator, Security Officer Instructor, Search and Rescue Diver, Special Events Incident Manager, Tactical Casualty Combat Care Provider, Surety Agent and First Responder.

Toby Braun is a member of the World Association of Detectives (WAD), the South Florida Human Trafficking Task Force (SFHTTF), the Florida, Texas and California Associations of Licensed Investigators (FALI, TALI, CALI) and the International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP).
